The Jordanian Interfaith Coexistence Research Center

In 2004, WorldBoston  and the Jordanian Interfaith Coexistence Research Center (JICRC), based in Amman, Jordan, formed a global partnership. The mission of JICRC is to use research, dialogue and practical initiatives to promote values of peaceful interfaith coexistence.  It was founded in 2003 on the belief that promoting tolerance and coexistence is a necessity and not a luxury.

JICRC is now helping to promote Jordan as a model of peaceful interfaith coexistence around the world. WorldBoston and JICRC seek to work together on a variety of projects to educate Americans about the coexistence activities occurring in the Middle East, as well as exposing Imams from abroad to American culture and its people.  In the truest sense of exchange WorldBoston and JICRC hope to bring all nationalities and faiths together so that they may benefit and learn from each other as well as breakdown existing stereotypes.  WorldBoston and JICRC also hope to form linkages with other like-minded organizations and individuals in the U.S. who recognize the need for tolerance and acceptance of all religious faiths.  Lastly, the two organizations will work to explain how this acceptance is vital to achieve world peace.
