WorldBoston, BCFR, and AJC join forces to host a dinner with Ambassador Kåre Aas who will discuss “Norway’s Approach to Climate Change!”

Ambassador Kåre Aas has been Norway’s ambassador to the US since September 2013. He joined Norway’s diplomatic corps in 1983 and has served in Chile and Geneva, and as Norway’s ambassador to Afghanistan. He has also been Norway’s representative to NATO and to the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna. As Director General for National Security and the Arctic in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Aas helped develop and negotiate Norway’s policies on disarmament, nonproliferation, and nuclear security.
