“Work and Wellbeing during COVID-19” focuses on the experiences of Paulina Salazar Torres and Lilian Denham Martini as professionals in Chile during COVID-19, with a discussion on the digitization of work and its effect on mental wellbeing and productivity.

Paulina visited Boston in the fall of 2017 as part of the Young Leaders of Americas Initiative (YLAI). In Boston, Paulina was a fellow at MassBio, a a non-profit organization that represents and provides services and support for the Massachusetts life sciences industry.

Paulina Salazar Torres

Paulina Salazar Torres is the Founder of LabNettings, an online platform where scientists can communicate and share resources. The platform allows scientists to ask other laboratories for any resources they need, allowing for increased sharing of materials and equipment. Paulina has conducted research in molecular biology, specifically in neurodegenerative diseases.

Lilian Denham Martini

Paulina has invited her colleague, Lilian Denham Martini, to join today’s discussion. Lilian is the Executive Director of Red EG, a Network of companies for Gender Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.
