Join WorldBoston, the League of Women Voters of Massachusetts, and the Massachusetts Women of Color Coalition to celebrate the 2022 International Women of Courage, featuring two of the twelve inspiring awardees, Roegchanda “Ru” Pascoe (South Africa) and Bhumika Shrestha (Nepal). The discussion will be moderated by Mary P. Yntema of WorldBoston, Pattye Comfort of LWVMA, and Celia J. Blue of MAWOCC.
The annual U.S. Secretary of State’s International Women of Courage (IWOC) Award recognizes women from around the globe who have demonstrated exceptional courage, strength, and leadership in advocating for peace, justice, human rights, gender equity and equality, and the empowerment of women and girls, in all their diversity.
