A GLOBAL MOMENT IN TIME: REFLECTIONS ON DIVERSITY, EQUITY, INCLUSION, AND ACCESSIBILITY

A Multi-Regional Project

  • Engage participants in reflections on their countries’ DEIA status
  • Examine the concept of equity and share ideas and strategies on reversing inequity
  • Explore methods to promote tolerance, social inclusion, and economic opportunities for disadvantaged and marginalized populations

CURRENT U.S. SOCIAL, POLITICAL, AND ECONOMIC ISSUES FOR YOUNG EUROPEAN LEADERS

A Regional Project for Europe

  • Introduce and provide broad exposure to current U.S. social, political, and economic issuesand associated policy formulation
  • Examine interrelated U.S. foreign and domestic policy topics, including homeland security and intelligence gathering, trade and economic development, immigration and integration, health and social services, environmental sustainability, and energy
  • Explore the role of diversity, the individual, and religion in the United States

HIGHER EDUCATION PARTNERSHIPS

A Regional Project for the Middle East and North Africa

  • Examine higher education administrations at public, private, and land grant universities
  • Assess potential for U.S. collaboration and partnerships with MENA universities
  • Explore exchange program possibilities including but not limited to Fulbright exchanges
  • Examine U.S. strategies that promote intellectual freedom and innovation

COUNTERING FOREIGN DISINFORMATION IN EGYPT

A Project for Egypt

  • Examine U.S. policy at various levels of government to counter disinformation and misleading reporting
  • Focus on approaches to build trust between the media, government, and citizens
  • Explore ways to verify reliable sources of information and counter mis/disinformation
  • Consider ways to foster a discerning audience of media consumers
  • Discuss how social media and new technologies can be utilized to amplify messages, disseminate information, and connect with target audiences

EDUCATION AND EMPLOYABILITY

A Project for Pakistan

  • Strengthen Pakistan’s human capacity through insights into the U.S. employability and education dynamic that can lead to increased opportunities for workforce development
  • Work to increase Pakistan’s private sector-led inclusive economic growth
  • Assist Pakistani society to become better educated, more skilled, and inclusive.
