Examine U.S. financial markets in their domestic and global contexts, explain U.S. perspectives on international economic and monetary issues, and provide opportunities.
To exchange views on the United States’ global economic relationships, particularly with Europe and China.
Examine the effect of international trade on American business, the economy, and trade relations, and explore the effects of foreign direct investment (FDI) on U.S. economic growth and prosperity, jobs creation, spurring innovation, and driving exports.
Explore state and local international trade and export promotion initiatives designed to promote regional economic development and demonstrate how American industries remain competitive in the global market.
