Past Programs

The Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative (YLAI) is a five-week professional fellowship exchange for young entrepreneurs sponsored by the U.S. State Department. With our local resource network, WorldBoston organized the fellowship placement, networking events, cultural activities, workshops, lodging, and transportation. All of which were planned ahead of time, allowing us to provide the visitors with a detailed itinerary of their program.

HEC Paris is an international business school that brought 50 management staff from Total to Boston. To kickstart the visitors’ exchange in Boston, we organized an overview of Boston’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, arranged Harvard tours, and were the emergency contact for the group throughout their time in Boston.

Manchester U.K. City to City: Community Leadership in Preventing Violence was an international exchange sponsored by the U.S. Embassy in London. WorldBoston’s programming provided the opportunity for leading professionals from Manchester, U.K. to meet with leading government officials and public-private organizations to learn about Boston’s approach in preventing community and extremist violence. The program alsoprovided the opportunity for a reverse exchange for Boston delegates to go to Manchester.
