Interested in international affairs and journalism? Then volunteer to report on WorldBoston's Global Engagement events! We are seeking individuals to write an article about one of our public programs: Chat & Chowder, Great Decisions, or special events. The selected reporter will be responsible for creating an event recap, which will be posted on our website blog and amplified on social media. Best Practices in Applying to Graduate School
The Association of Professional Schools of International Affairs (APSIA) brings together the leading graduate schools around the world specializing in international affairs. Join this introductory webinar, offered three times in the fall, on best practices when applying for Graduate School, in which APSIA's International Admissions and Operations Manager will answer questions about selecting a graduate program, preparing an application, paying for school, and other career opportunities.

Request for Proposals in Tunisia
Network 20/20 is aiming to fund a Tunisian-led pilot project to address issues relating to education and workforce development in an under-resourced community. At least one project will be funded at a maximum of $20,000 USD to be implemented from January 2024 – December 2024. The submission deadline is September 1.

The John Quincy Adams Society Reading Group
The John Quincy Adams Society conducts regular reading groups on international affairs, during which participants dig into the ideas and history of U.S. foreign policy. Sessions are typically offered both in-person in the DC area and virtually. The upcoming reading group will focus on Mr. X and the Pacific: George F. Kennan and American Policy in East Asia, by Paul Heer, and will occur in September.

Harvard International Review Essay Contest
The Harvard International Review is a quarterly magazine offering insight on international affairs from the perspectives of scholars, leaders, and policymakers. This writing contest is open to submissions from high school students on topics related to international affairs. Participants in the contest should submit a short-form article on a topic in international affairs, and a number of contestants will be selected as finalists to participate in a virtual HIR Defense Day. The submission deadline is August 31.

The Journal of Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs
The aim of Ethics & International Affairs, the quarterly journal of the Carnegie Council, is to help close the gap between theory and practice by featuring articles, essays, and book reviews that integrate rigorous thinking about principles of ethics and justice into discussions of practical issues related to policy, global institutions, and international actors. The journal is accepting submissions of features and essays, as well as online exclusive submissions to appear on their website on a rolling basis.

Realist Review Article Submission
Realist Review is a volunteer-run foreign policy publication that seeks to provide a fresh perspective on U.S. foreign policy based in restraint. The publication is accepting submissions from anyone interested in writing a commentary or analysis piece that expresses a perspective on policies or developments in international affairs and diplomacy. Accepted submissions will be published on their website.

WCAPS GenZers Program
The Women of Color Advancing Peace and Security is establishing a GenZer Program (“GenZep”) to welcome young girls of color from junior high through college into WCAPS membership. GenZep will host discussions on topics of peace and security, foreign policy, mentorship, and challenges unique to this time in their lives that benefit the group.
