The Center for a New American Security is hosting The Pitch: A Competition of New Ideas, its annual event to elevate emerging and diverse voices in national security. Selected applicants will make their pitch for innovative policy ideas to meet new challenges in U.S. national security policy in front of a distinguished panel of judges. The first round will take place virtually on Wednesday, April 24, and winners will present at the CNAS National Security Conference on June 6 in Washington DC. Applications are due on Monday, March 18.

Sponsored by Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mosaic Taiwan is a fellowship exchange program for young individuals in the US and Canada interested in global affairs to gain firsthand experience with Taiwanese culture and society. Being a host family with EF is a unique, rewarding, fun, and educational experience for all members of the family and an opportunity to create long-lasting, global relationships. Hosts can be single family households, empty nesters, families with young children, etc., and will be offered a weekly stipend to offset meal costs.
