Understand and observe the organizational as well as workflow structures of the USG’s communication offices in an effort to promote government initiatives and build public trust, including during crisis situations

HIGHER EDUCATION IN THE UNITED STATES: INNOVATION AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR PARTNERSHIP

Provide an overview of the U.S. post secondary education sector and the role of universities, community colleges, vocational/technical schools, and other traditional and non-traditional educational institutions in preparing young adults and adult workers to participate and compete in the job market
Gain insight into how educational institutions in the United States contribute to the social and economic development of the country
Examine trends and innovations in educational technologies, online learning, curricular content, partnerships with companies and government, worker training and retraining programs, and other approaches to address the needs of traditional and non-traditional students and of emerging industries in the U.S. economy
Explore educational opportunities and access for minority, economically disadvantaged, geographically isolated, rural, Native American, and other populations and sectors

Examine education and outreach initiatives which focus on women’s legal rights, the responsibility of men and boys to avoid perpetuating gender-based violence, and combating trafficking in persons
